Re-Installing Entryware Mobile

If Entryware no longer appears on the handheld, either it was deleted or your device was hard reset.  If you must reinstall the Entryware Mobile software, check the list created when doing the initial installation to determine which license number to use on a particular handheld.

Please Note:

·      When a questionnaire file is loaded onto the handheld after reinstalling the Entryware Mobile software, the automatic respondent numbering starts at “1” just as it did the first time the questionnaire was used on that device.

Note:     Respondent numbers may be duplicated if the Entryware Mobile software is reinstalled on a handheld and used with a questionnaire for which data already exists.  To determine a unique response, please refer to the RUID variable/field.

·      Use the date and time stamp included in the data set to distinguish between interviews, from the same device, that have duplicate respondent numbers.
