Lorraine brings a wealth of experience in the market research industry. She started her career at MarkTrend Research, which later became Market Facts and then Synovate in 2003. In her 23 years as a supplier of marketing research, she has had vast experience dealing with the various challenges of project management with different methodologies, including face-to-face interviewing. We look forward to working with her as our software and service offerings grow!

Techneos-To-Go™ service bureau now for hire

As you've probably heard by now, Techneos launched its own face-to-face service bureau, Techneos-To-Go, in early June. We have already experienced significant demand for services, and are in the process of expanding both our staff and hardware inventory to prepare for even greater demand. CEO Mark Cameron to speak at MRA webinar

Mark will provide a brief overview of the history, present state and future potential of mobile interviewing. Beyond the traditional challenges of replacing paper forms with electronic forms, he will address the potential impact of mobile computing on all forms of research data collection. Mark will discuss:

• How mobile computing, telephony and the Internet are converging to create new challenges and opportunities for researchers
• The differences between various technology-aided methods for personal interviewing (vendor-agnostic comparison of methods, not specific hardware or software)
• Vocabulary and terms relating to wireless communications and mobile computing
