Techneos Entryware™ used for FIFA U-20 World Cup Canada 2007 Surveys

This year Canada played host to the FIFA U-20 World Cup, and the Canadian Sports Tourism Alliance was there to collect the data! The tournament was conducted from June 30th to July 22nd in six Canadian cities, including Victoria, Burnaby, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. Techneos™ and Nationwide Surveys Join Forces

On September 5th, Techneos announced that Nationwide Surveys will be our US base for the Techneos-To-Go™ Service Bureau.

"We are very excited to welcome Nationwide Surveys as our US hub for client services," comments Mark Cameron, CEO of Techneos Systems Inc. "Techneos and Nationwide have collaborated on dozens of projects over the past few years, and when we launched the Techneos-To-Go service bureau in June it was clear that Nationwide Surveys would provide an ideal base for US service customers."

Techneos Entryware Version 6.2 Coming - November 2007

This month the developers at Techneos will release Entryware v. 6.2, offering you numerous additional features and functionality - including photo capture! Some of the enhancements include:

Features

    NEW: Sliding Scale Questions
  • Display Single or Multiple sliding scales for input
  • Slider can display discreet values (e.g. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) or a continuous scale (e.g. 1-100)
  • Slider can optionally have Left, Mid, and Right labels

    NEW: Photo Capture Questions
  • Palm OS device - Capture an image using a built-in camera
  • Windows® devices - capture a photo using built-in or attached camera (Supported for Windows 98®, Windows 2000®, Windows XP® and Windows Vista®)

Entryware Designer Improvements

  • Option to specify a Remap value for any category list item. For example, remapping "No" to value 0
Entryware Conduit for Palm OS Improvements
  • Changes to conduit result in HotSync Manager loading much faster.

Techneos would like to congratulate Roman Shalimov of Tochka Rosta Marketing Research in Moscow for winning the draw at ESOMAR Berlin, landing him an annual license to an Entryware Standard Bundle.
