The Canadian Ski Council (CSC) has established a strategic alliance with the mobile data collection professionals at Techneos^® Systems.

This alliance will help produce the CSC's most extensive national report to date on the demographics, proficiency and consumer patterns in the Canadian ski and snowboard industry. More than 50 ski areas across Canada are expected to participate in this annual survey, which is now in its ninth season.

"Techneos has reliable and easy-to-use survey software and a powerful web-based platform that will allow us to significantly improve how we conduct this annual survey versus past years. Techneos is also adding their expertise by integrating handheld PDAs that will greatly enhance our ability to interact with skiers and snowboarders at the resorts on a one-to-one basis," added Chedore.

The Canadian Ski Council-Techneos alliance also includes a package of sponsorship rights that will see Techneos become an "Official Sponsor" of the Canadian Ski Council.
